Missiles= Visa?

So, my AP World Hist. grading is over and the last essay I graded was weird. I was thinking "This is the last essay I'll grade for at least a year.. strange". Well- that night, amidst the imbibing it began to hit me.. "I'm MOVING to KOREA!" (Ok.. so didn't really HIT me just yet.. but that's all I have to focus on now.. there's no APW children, essays, conferences, end-of-school-year stuff) It's just surreal.

Now- Despite the increasing tension with my future brother country to the North-- my school has no worries about impending death via nukes. (whew. that's a relief!) Now-- supposedly North Korea (NoKo) is simply "posturing" in an attempt to get stuff from people like the US.. but we haven't been taking the bait.. which makes things nervewracking for those SoKos.. I think everything will be fine.. but then again- what do I know about foreign policy?!? lol.

On a happier note: I just got my Visa Issuance number!! Thank God!! After numerous pricey overnight FedEx packages to Seoul and many harassing calls to the Dep of State- I finally have IT!! Thank God! Now.. I have to take the number (aka the number that says "yes, this girl can have a visa. doesn't mean she has one.. but she's allowed b.c. she isn't some fraud trying to come in and give our people AIDS or bombs") to the nearest Korean Consulate in Atlanta, GA in order to get the "actual visa". Another tedious step.. but at least there's just one more step. :)

My belongings are dwindling down.. my room just has a few stacks of books and DVDs in it. It's getting weird.
